Conway Consulting is partnering with a well-established organisation in the building and construction sector to recruit a Senior Recruitment Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll play a key role in attracting and supporting the next generation of skilled professionals through apprenticeship and employment programs.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment while partnering closely with hiring managers and mentoring a Recruitment Officer. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help shape recruitment strategies across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of vacancies
• Build and maintain talent pipelines using proactive sourcing strategies
• Partner with hiring managers to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience
• Mentor and support a Recruitment Officer
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding
• Develop sourcing campaigns across SEEK, LinkedIn, and other recruitment channels
• Ensure recruitment activities are compliant, efficient, and candidate-focused
• Contribute to process improvement and employer branding initiatives

About You

You'll be an experienced recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong sourcing and candidate attraction capability
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
• A collaborative leadership style with mentoring or coaching experience
• Experience within construction, trades, education, apprenticeships, or high-volume recruitment will be highly regarded
