Intermediate Scrum Master

Scrum Master

Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension or conversion

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, Toronto)

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support high-profile technology initiatives within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Remove impediments and help teams maintain delivery momentum and focus.
• Partner with Product Owners, Technology Leads, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and priorities.
• Support Agile transformations, team organization, and optimization of delivery processes.
• Maintain Agile artifacts and ensure work is accurately reflected within delivery tools and backlogs.
• Promote collaboration, transparency, and accountability across teams and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, productivity, and Agile maturity.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery professional.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience removing delivery impediments.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting Agile transformations or organizational change initiatives.
• Exposure to large enterprise technology programs.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSS, PSM, or SAFe.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology initiatives.
