About Epitaph
Media’s a mess. Bloated budgets. Metrics that mean nothing. Decisions made by dashboards instead of people.
At Epitaph, we’re here to fix that.
We’re an independent media agency built for brands that deserve better, and we believe in Media Done Right. That means media as a craft, not a commodity. Strategy driven by context, not just data. And advertising that doesn’t just reach people, but actually moves them.
We work with some of the most ambitious brands in Canada and the U.S., across every category you can imagine. We help them grow. Not just spend.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Director, Digital Operations & Performance who embodies our shared agency values.

- Work closely with new and existing partners and data sources to establish a best-in-class media product offering, ensuring best practices are followed, measured, and consistently met across the digital team.
- Ensure client campaigns are delivered as planned and approved in-platform, with execution aligned to campaign objectives, quality standards, and KPI expectations.
- Mentor team members in-platform where required, transferring knowledge, reinforcing best practices, and building stronger executional capability across the digital team.
- Ensure the digital team is operating within Epitaph’s agency process, including clear workflows, consistent documentation, quality control, timely handoffs, and alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Partner closely with Integrated Planning, Account, Operations, and Finance team members to ensure digital work is connected, organized, and delivered in a way that supports the broader agency workflow.
- Support the team in using tools, templates, and shared systems consistently, while identifying gaps or improvements that can make digital delivery more efficient and repeatable.
- Maintain awareness of platform, technology, automation, and AI developments that may improve how the digital team works, with a focus on practical application within agency operations.
Your Qualifications
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of digital media experience, including at least 4 years in a management role.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in one or more digital media channels (e.g., paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, or ecommerce).
- Experience improving team workflows, implementing repeatable processes, and supporting operational adoption across digital media teams.
- Strong understanding of digital media operations, campaign execution workflows, platform requirements, QA practices, and reporting processes across multiple digital channels.
