Our marketplace is where demand meets supply at the luxury end of short-term rentals, and it's one of the fastest-growing parts of our business.

The Role

We're looking for a Head of Product, Marketplace to own the guest-facing booking experience and the two-sided dynamics that make our marketplace work. You'll be responsible for how travelers discover, evaluate, and book Wander homes, and for the supply-side tooling and quality bar that keeps our inventory the best in the world.

This is a high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of demand, supply, and marketplace economics.

You'll partner closely with engineering, design, growth, and operations, and you'll help build and lead the product team that scales this side of the business.

What You'll Do

• Own the marketplace product strategy and roadmap end to end: search, discovery, property pages, booking flow, pricing surfacing, and post-booking guest experience
• Drive the core marketplace metrics: GMV, conversion, AOV/ADR, repeat booking rate, and liquidity between demand and supply
• Balance both sides of the marketplace: traveler experience and demand generation on one side, property manager/owner supply quality and tooling on the other
• Define and enforce the quality bar that makes inventory "Wander Worthy," in partnership with supply and operations teams
• Turn ambiguous problems into crisp PRDs, ship fast, and iterate against real data
• Partner with Growth to improve funnel performance and with Data to instrument and understand marketplace behavior
• Build, hire, and mentor a team of product managers as the marketplace scales

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in product, with meaningful experience owning a consumer marketplace or two-sided platform (travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or similar)
• A track record of driving marketplace metrics (conversion, GMV, liquidity, retention) with measurable impact
• Deep intuition for consumer/guest experience and for the supply-side dynamics that make a marketplace healthy
• Strong analytical chops: fluent with funnels, cohort analysis, and experimentation; comfortable in the data
• Excellent judgment on quality and taste; you care that things look and feel premium
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and, ideally, to build and manage a product org
• High velocity and low ego.

• Familiarity with pricing, distribution (OTAs), or supply onboarding at scale
