THE ROLE

The Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is the operational lead on the floor — the eyes and hands of the Housekeeping Manager, present in the rooms, driving quality shift by shift. She translates the household's standards into daily practice and holds the team accountable to them without exception. The principal's spaces are always immaculate, considered and ready.

Supervise the housekeeping team on shift, allocating daily tasks, leading briefings and ensuring every room is presented to the household's exacting standard Walk the residence throughout the day to inspect finish, correct detail and ensure rooms are prepared ahead of the principals' movements Oversee the care of delicate surfaces, fine fabrics, artwork and decorative items, ensuring the correct products and techniques are applied at all times Manage laundry, linen and wardrobe routines on shift, including the handling of couture, uniforms and guest amenities Train and mentor junior housekeepers, reinforcing standards, discretion and the pace expected at this level Liaise closely with the Housekeeping Manager, Butler and House Manager on guest arrivals, entertaining and changes to the principals' schedule THE CANDIDATE Female candidate, in keeping with the cultural requirements of the household EU passport holder, able to travel with the family as required Proven experience within a private household or five-star luxury hotel environment Confident leading a team, with the presence and authority to set the pace on the floor.
