IT Program Manager

Role Purpose

The Program Manager – SAP S/4HANA & Applications supports the planning, coordination, and execution of ASD’s SAP S/4HANA implementation and related IT initiatives.

The role manages project schedules, tracks deliverables, coordinates resources, and monitors progress across key workstreams, including SAP S/4HANA, SalesBuzz, SalesCode, Image Recognition, and SO99. The Program Manager ensures timely delivery within scope, manages risks and issues, and serves as the main coordination point between AFG, internal teams, business users, and technology vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountability

SAP S/4HANA Program Management

• Support planning and execution of the SAP S/4HANA program across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities across SAP workstreams and implementation partners.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality.
• Prepare project status reports and support governance and phase-gate reviews.
• Coordinate data migration, cutover planning, and deployment readiness.

Application Portfolio Management

• Manage enterprise application initiatives, like SalesBuzz, and other digital projects.
• Maintain the application portfolio roadmap and provide regular progress updates.
• Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria with business stakeholders.
• Manage application change requests and ensure alignment with the SAP landscape.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate between business functions, IT teams, SAP consultants, and external vendors.
• Facilitate governance meetings, project workshops, and steering committee reviews.
• Manage stakeholder communications, project updates, risks, and expectations.
• Coordinate training and user readiness activities with Change Management.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Coordinate testing activities across Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Performance, and Regression Testing.
• Track defects, monitor resolution, and ensure testing exit criteria are achieved.
• Manage business sign-offs, data validation, and production readiness.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement.

Cutover, Go-Live & Hypercare

• Coordinate cutover planning, Go-Live activities, and business readiness.
• Support Go/No-Go decision-making and deployment governance.
• Manage Hypercare activities, issue resolution, and transition to Business-as-Usual (BAU).
• Support post-implementation reviews and benefits realization.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain project documentation, governance records, and decision logs.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer from implementation partners to internal IT teams.
• Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to project delivery methodologies.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• SAP Activate Program Manager certification is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
• Certification in any of the SAP Modules is preferred
• Proven end-to-end delivery of at least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC implementations, with direct accountability for go-live in a Program Manager capacity.
• Strong expertise in SAP Activate methodology; practical experience across all six phases: Discover, Explore, Realize, Verify, Deploy, and Run.
• Hands-on experience managing all SAP testing cycles, including SIT, UAT (multi-round), data migration runs, performance testing, and cutover rehearsals.
• Deep knowledge of SAP functional areas relevant to FMCG / Dairy
