Accounting Specialist (Male)

Position: Accountant (Male)Department: FinanceCompany: Marketing & Events CompanyJob Purpose:

To manage the company’s daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, handle banking transactions, and prepare financial reports related to projects and events to support management decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in marketing, events, or project-based companies is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (required).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of VAT regulations and filing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:Daily Accounting Duties

• Record daily journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Issue client invoices and follow up on collections.
• Review and process supplier invoices and payments.
• Prepare customer and supplier statements of account.
• Assist in monthly payroll preparation in coordination with management.

Banking Transactions

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and transfers.
• Coordinate with banks regarding financial transactions and documentation.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct project/event cost analysis (Project Costing).
• Monitor marketing and event-related expenses.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns on time.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
