AutoCAD Operator / Architectural Draftsman - IN-PERSON JOB OPENING (Emeryville)

A Hawaii based architectural custom metal fabricating company is seeking an AutoCAD Operator/Draftsman for our Emeryville, CA location. We manufacture and fabricate all types of architectural metal products for both commercial and residential projects. We specialize in railings, awnings, trellis, gates, etc., using aluminum, stainless steel, glass, bronze and various other materials.

We are looking for a draftsman to assist us with our shop drawings.

Required Skills, Experience and Education

• 5 years minimum experience with SHOP DRAWINGS.
• Ability to read and interpret document drawings is a must.
• Experience and comprehensive working knowledge of AutoCAD software required.
• Computer skills and use of Microsoft Office.
• Efficient, resilient, flexible and goal oriented.
• Strong organization, self-management and people skills.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Robust communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Teamwork and strong problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of architectural design process and construction documents is a plus.
• Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
• BA/BS degree with engineering/construction/architecture related curriculum is a plus.

THIS IS A 100% IN-PERSON POSITION - NO REMOTE

Compensation

• Full benefits package (medical, dental, 401K, vacation pay).

• Hourly Wage: Based on experience.
• Starting Salary: $20.00 /hour + depending on experience
• Job Type: Full-time – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm – Monday – Friday with some overtime.
