HR Recruiter/Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will support the full employee lifecycle — from attracting and hiring top talent to onboarding, training, records management, and offboarding — across various departments, including maintenance, property management, and administrative roles.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and brings a mix of recruiting experience and strong HR administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening.
• Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, system access, orientation, and first-day setup.
• Coordinate and track employee trainings, including safety, compliance, and role-specific programs, and maintain training records.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Manage the offboarding process, including exit paperwork, equipment return, and final documentation.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide an exceptional candidate and employee experience throughout every stage of the lifecycle.
• Develop and implement strategies to build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, HR best practices, and employment compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR, recruiting, or HR coordination experience, preferably in property management or a related industry.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume recruitment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience maintaining employee records and supporting onboarding, offboarding, and training coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates, employees, and hiring managers.
• Experience with sourcing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Indeed).
• Working knowledge of HR compliance and confidentiality standards.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Location: This position will mainly be based out of our office in Van Nuys. However, we have offices and locations throughout Los Angeles that you may be required to travel to.
