About the Firm

We have been retained to try matters before federal and state courts and arbitration panels in 38 states.

About the Role

Our firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal for its Los Angeles Office. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience in California state and federal courts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys and fellow paralegals to support complex litigation matters
• Handle state and federal court filings, including electronic and in-person submissions in courts
• Ensure compliance with state and federal court rules, deadlines, and formatting requirements
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Maintain and coordinate firm and case calendars
• Organize, maintain, and update case files
• Draft and revise correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop and enhance internal litigation support and workflows
• Conduct factual and legal research
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
• Take primary responsibility for litigation databases
• Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications
• Prepare for client meetings, depositions, and hearings
• Contribute to the ongoing development of firm processes in a growing practice

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of paralegal experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong academic background
• Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Ability to work in-office full time, including evenings and weekends if needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits

• $80K per annum for full-time position based on 40 hour week equivalent to $38 per hour
• Discretionary annual bonus
• Comprehensive benefits package
