HR Coordinator - ON-SITE - Contract

Our local government client is hiring an on-site HR Coordinator to support their team in Everett, WA!!

We’re seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to play a vital role in our HR Shared Services team. This fully on-site position offers a chance to make a real impact by managing essential employment processes, supporting recruitment, and delivering excellent service to employees and candidates alike. What You’ll Do

• Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, including scheduling interviews, entering applicant data, and collaborating on job offers.
• Coordinate testing for safety-sensitive positions and process related documentation.
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, providing friendly and professional assistance.
• Manage confidential employee records and support HR programs.
• Present at information sessions, act as a panelist during interviews, and coordinate assessment processes.
• Maintain meticulous personnel files, process sensitive documents, and prepare information packets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform miscellaneous HR tasks as needed to keep our department running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of related experience in administrative support, recruiting, scheduling, or HR functions.
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of office procedures, customer service principles, and confidentiality practices.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Critical thinker with strong interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Over 1 year of experience using ATS or full-cycle recruitment tools, such as iCIMS or PeopleSoft.
• Experience hosting virtual meetings on Zoom or Teams, including managing breakout rooms and presenting to diverse audiences.

Preferred Education & Experience

• A combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential duties.
• Previous experience in an environment that requires handling sensitive or confidential information.

Additional Requirements

• Fully on-site role requiring movement across multiple office locations.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and work in a potentially noisy environment.
• Certifications related to HR or administrative support are a bonus.
