Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will support classroom teachers in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students. You will also spend time in the classroom while the teacher is performing administrative duties.

Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster student growth, and ensure that every learner receives the attention they deserve. Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education activities.
• Assist in classroom by maintaining a safe, organized environment conducive to learning for children of various ages, including preschool early childhood learners through first grade.
• Take a classroom of students outside for play and games.
• Fill in when a teacher is out.
• Willing to learn new techniques to help students suceed.

Requirements

• Working with children in a classroom or childcare settings is required.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively support student learning and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professional discretion.
• Experience supporting literacy education.
• Associate degree required.
• Bachelors degree preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
