Bilingual HR Director

We're partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization seeking a hands-on Bilingual HR Director to establish and lead the company's HR function. This is a unique opportunity to create the HR infrastructure, processes, and culture that will support the organization's next phase of growth while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR execution, and building scalable people practices in an industrial or field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the HR department from the ground up, creating policies, programs, and scalable HR infrastructure.
• Serve as the senior HR business partner to the executive leadership team and report directly to the C-suite.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
• Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compliance, compensation, benefits, organizational development, and workforce planning.
• Partner with operations leaders to support a distributed, field-based workforce.
• Establish compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices while ensuring federal, state, and local compliance.
• Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance issues, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop and enhance total rewards programs, including long-term incentive plans (preferred).
• Support labor relations and collaborate with union leadership where applicable.
• Build HR metrics, reporting, and workforce analytics to support executive decision-making.
• Drive culture, engagement, and change management initiatives as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Progressive HR leadership experience with prior experience as an HR Director, Senior HR Manager, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated success building an HR department, function, or infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong background supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, logistics, field services, or other operational environments.
• Comfortable working onsite and partnering closely with operations leadership.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
• Experience leading employee relations in complex operational environments.
• Union or labor relations experience is a strong plus.
• Experience designing or managing long-term incentive compensation programs is highly desirable.
• Prior experience supporting private equity-backed organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience presenting to or partnering with Boards of Directors is a significant plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and executive influencing skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications are a plus.

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (9/80 schedule)
