Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Compensation: Commensurate with experience

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented professional to manage cash applications and accounts receivable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where continuous growth and curiosity are valued.

Role Summary You will be responsible for the accurate and timely application of cash receipts, reconciling accounts, processing deposits, and handling various client settlements to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Processing: Post daily customer payments accurately, including cash, checks, wires, e-checks, and credit card transactions.
• Account Management: Generate employee Accounts Receivable billings and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Dispute & Chargeback Resolution: Manage credit card customer disputes, and post client NSF charges and manual chargebacks to the general ledger.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform account reconciliations, conduct financial analysis, and assist the team with month-end closing procedures.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify AR issues, engage management with solutions, and drive innovation within the accounts receivable function.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting highly preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting environment.
• Technical Skills: Experience working with a large accounting or ERP system is preferred; must possess a mathematical background.
• Core Competencies: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, backed by sound judgment and a positive attitude.
