Design Drafter

Are you a Draftsman or Engineer who loves seeing a design transform from an architectural plan into a beautifully finished piece of commercial millwork?

I am partnering with a fantastic client in South Dallas who is looking for a talented professional to join their engineering team! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys taking a concept and building out the exact drawing packages that make CNC production, fabrication, and installation a breeze.

In this on-site role, you won't just be sitting behind a screen you’ll be a vital problem-solver, working directly with Project Managers and the shop floor to ensure every joint, dimension, and material is optimized for success.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Bringing architectural plans to life using CAD and/or Cabinet Vision (if you know Microvellum, that’s a huge plus!).
• Catching design conflicts early and developing practical, buildable solutions.
• Generating precise drawings and data outputs for CNC manufacturing.
• Collaborating closely with the production team to incorporate their feedback and keep projects running smoothly.

What we’d love to see from you

• Solid experience as a CAD Draftsman or Cabinet Vision Engineer, specifically within the commercial millwork space.
• A deep understanding of millwork materials, construction methods, and CNC workflows.
• A highly collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to quality craftsmanship.
