Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator serves as the primary on-site human resources operator for Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS). Under the functional direction and approval authority of the HR Director, this position independently manages day-to-day HR operations including payroll processing, TRS monthly reporting, CPI state reporting, benefits administration, background and fingerprinting management, recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding, employee attendance tracking, and personnel records management.

This role operates within a defined structure of accountability, regular check-ins, and HR Director approval on key functions. The HR Coordinator is expected to be organized, thorough, detail-oriented, and committed to operating transparently within established processes and compliance standards.

Reports To

Human Resources Director; Director of Finance & Operations

Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least a portion of that experience in a school, charter school, or nonprofit environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with ADP or a similar payroll/HRIS platform strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with TRS reporting, CPI state reporting, and Georgia charter school HR practices a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
