Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist

SUMMARY

Looking for an experienced financial specialist who will be responsible for balance sheet management, ensuring accounting compliance, partnering with sales/retail personnel, month-end closing & reporting. The role will require a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, and be expected to have heavy involvement with international retail sites.

Incumbent will be expected to serve as the primary accountant and work with the CFO and Controller on various tasks and projects. This is a highly visible role that will require strong interpersonal skills and adept communication with both financial and non-financial personnel.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Maintains general ledger, prepares and/or reviews Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze financial information and provide variance analysis, compile various reporting and supporting details.
• Oversees Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensures efficient payables and receivables management.
• Provide detailed reports and account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts. Ensures GAAP compliance.
• Special projects as needed to support reporting to the management team

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate or Bachelor's Degree Required within Finance or Accounting.

Minimum 2-4 years’ experience preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with high level of knowledge in Excel

NetSuite and QuickBooks experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Computer work for extended periods of time

Pay: $38,000.00 to $42,000.00 per year
