New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to appoint a Director of Marketing, Executive and Professional Education reporting to the Vice Provost, Executive & Professional Education.

The Director of Marketing provides strategic leadership for the marketing, brand positioning, and demand-generation strategy for the Office of Executive and Professional Education (OEPE) at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Supporting four program verticals—Executive Education Custom Programs, Professional and Executive Master’s Degrees, High School Programs, and Community & Open Enrollment Classes—the role ensures the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive inquiries, applications, and enrollments across regional and international markets.

Reporting to the Vice Provost of Executive and Professional Education, the Director of Marketing is responsible for shaping and implementing data-driven marketing strategies that strengthen NYU Abu Dhabi’s market position in executive and professional education.

The role oversees marketing strategy, digital engagement, brand development, vendor and agency partnerships, and the effective use of CRM and marketing technologies to support a seamless inquiry-to-enrollment journey.

As the senior marketing leader for OEPE, the Director ensures marketing investments are aligned with institutional priorities and program growth objectives while delivering measurable outcomes in lead generation, conversion rates, brand visibility, and market penetration across Abu Dhabi, the UAE, the GCC, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Lead Generation

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Office of Executive and Professional Education across all four program verticals
• Build annual and multi-year marketing plans aligned with program growth, enrollment objectives, and institutional priorities
• Drive lead generation through digital advertising, strategic partnerships, events, and regional outreach initiatives
• Oversee the marketing funnel from awareness through inquiry, application, and enrollment, ensuring marketing activities support sustainable growth and measurable outcomes

Digital, Brand & Content Strategy

• Lead OEPE’s digital media and brand strategy, including SEO, paid media, social media, and content marketing initiatives
• Oversee the creation of high-impact and dynamic website content for all program verticals
• Develop program collateral including brochures, viewbooks, custom client pitch decks, and testimonials
• Strengthen NYUAD’s executive education thought leadership presence through blogs, webinars, faculty-led panels, and digital content initiatives

Data, Analytics & Systems

• Establish a data-informed marketing approach that supports strategic decision-making and continuous improvement across marketing initiatives
• Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance across the full funnel, including lead generation, conversion rates, cost of acquisition (CAC), and return on investment (ROI)
• Implement and manage CRM and marketing automation systems to support inquiry-to-enrollment workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights to leadership and support evidence-based marketing strategies
• Develop and manage the division’s website to ensure an effective and engaging digital presence

Partnerships, Events & External Engagement

• Develop regional and international partnerships that support lead generation, co-marketing opportunities, and expanded market reach
• Lead participation in regional and international education fairs and recruitment events to promote NYUAD’s executive and professional education offerings
• Manage thought leadership events including faculty panels, executive briefings, and webinars
• Coordinate with University Communications on media engagement, brand identity, and reputation management

• Master's Degree in one of the following (or a closely related field):

• 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
• Demonstrated success driving enrollment growth in higher education or executive education
• Experience working in the GCC, particularly the UAE
• Experience managing large marketing budgets and agencies
• Experience building digital-first, data-driven marketing organizations

Preferred Education

• Master's Degree with a concentration in Marketing, Strategy, or International Business
• Master's Degree Integrated Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Marketing Analytics
• Graduate qualification (certificate/diploma) in:
• Digital Performance Marketing (paid media, conversion optimization)
• SEO / Content Strategy
• CRM / Marketing Automation (Salesforce, HubSpot, Slate, etc.)
• Coursework or executive education in GCC/UAE market strategyor higher-ed enrollment management

Preferred Experience

• Marketing knowledge of executive education, professional master’s, or corporate learning programs at a previous institution of higher education
• Expertise in B2B, government, and enterprise marketing
• Deep understanding of GCC and international student markets
• Advanced CRM and marketing automation expertise Strong regional media and agency networks
