Technical Sales Manager – Steel Fabrication & Scaffolding

We are a multi-division engineering services company serving industrial, cement, manufacturing, infrastructure, and energy sector clients across the UAE. Our expertise spans industrial maintenance, shutdown services, steel fabrication, scaffolding solutions, and specialized engineering systems.

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our Steel Fabrication, Structural Steel, and Scaffolding business across the UAE and wider GCC region.

The Role

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and securing contracts for steel fabrication, structural steel, and scaffolding services.

This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong technical knowledge and an established network among contractors, EPC companies, consultants, industrial clients, and project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and opportunity identification through proposal development, contract negotiation, project award, and handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the steel fabrication, structural steel, and scaffolding business across the UAE and GCC markets.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, industrial maintenance, cement plants, and infrastructure sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, EPC companies, consultants, project managers, facility owners, and industrial clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions in coordination with estimation and operations teams.
• Conduct site visits, review drawings, specifications, and BOQs, and convert client requirements into accurate scopes of work.
• Achieve and exceed sales revenue, profit margin, and collection targets.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with fabrication, scaffolding, engineering, and project execution teams to ensure project feasibility and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, prepare sales forecasts, and provide regular management reports.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of sales/business development experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, scaffolding, industrial services, or related engineering sectors.
• Strong network within UAE and GCC construction, industrial, oil & gas, EPC, and infrastructure markets.
• Sound understanding of fabrication processes, structural steel works, scaffolding systems, and project execution requirements.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing major contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• UAE driving license is mandatory.
