About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Assistant Director Product to join our Product Development team.

Responsibilities

• The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
• Product Strategy & Vision Lead the end-to-end development of casino gaming digital products and features, owning the long-term strategy, roadmap, and success metrics , ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, technical, and guest experience standards.
• Draft comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and detailed product specifications, setting standards for documentation quality and consistency integrating input from business units, operations, guest journey mapping, and development teams.
• Define, prioritize, and communicate product features through structured governance and prioritisation forums in collaboration with stakeholders, designers, developers, and IT/engineering teams.
• Partner with technical leads and architects to ensure product requirements are not only feasible but also implemented in the most efficient, scalable, and maintainable way, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability . Translate complex gaming and regulatory requirements into intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences.
• Tech & Development Collaboration Work hand-in-hand with development teams throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements and architecture reviews to sprint planning, delivery, and QA, providing senior product leadership and escalation support . Ensure clear articulation of the what, the way, and the how in product deliverables to align business objectives with technical implementation.
• Understand and challenge technical trade-offs, system dependencies, and integration complexities, making informed decisions on risk, scope, and sequencing . Champion agile and iterative delivery, establishing delivery best practices and cadence , ensuring strong alignment between product roadmaps and engineering capacity.
• Vendor Management Evaluate and shortlist third-party technology vendors, leading product due diligence and strategic fit assessments, ensuring alignment with product, business, and technical requirements Coordinate with procurement, IT, and app teams during vendor onboarding and integration, providing senior oversight and decision-making support . Oversee and validate vendor platform/system integration into the resort's gaming infrastructure in partnership with engineering teams, ensuring delivery quality and operational readiness . Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors to optimize delivery, technical quality, and long-term performance, including performance monitoring and accountability . Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the key liaison among internal teams, including casino operations, marketing, legal/compliance, design, IT, and development.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to ensure business and technical goals remain aligned, resolving conflicts and driving consensus where required . Present product updates, technical dependencies, and delivery milestones clearly to leadership.
• Establish continuous feedback loops with both business stakeholders and engineering to refine direction and support informed leadership decision-making . Customer & Player Experience Focus Champion the guest/player perspective in all product-related decisions, embedding guest-centric thinking across teams . Analyze player behavior and feedback to inform continuous product improvements and strategic enhancements.
• Ensure that digital gaming products deliver engaging, reliable, and seamless experiences across all touchpoints.
• Competitor & Market Analysis Stay informed on emerging trends and innovations in the global gaming and casino industry, providing thought leadership and insight to leadership teams . Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, informing roadmap and investment decisions . Use insights to guide product direction and maintain competitive edge in a rapidly evolving regulatory and market landscape . Monitor the regulatory landscape and stay current with GCGRA updates and guidelines, a nticipating impacts to product strategy and delivery . Design & Analytics Collaboration Work closely with UI/UX designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that enhance the gaming journey, setting experience quality standards . Coordinate with the analytics team to define KPIs and performance metrics for digital gaming products, ensuring leadership visibility on performance . Use data insights to refine features, identify new opportunities, and ensure measurable impact

About You

Min of 10 years of experience in digital product management, ideally with a focus on gaming, retail sportsbook or igaming products. Demonstrated experience operating at a senior or lead level Experience in a regulated industry, such as gaming, finance, or healthcare. Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience managing digital gaming products or platforms (web and/or mobile) Strong knowledge of casino operations, gaming technology, and digital product lifecycles Ability to write clear product specs and BRDs that detail what to build and how it should be implemented , setting standards for others to follow Familiarity with vendor evaluation, onboarding, and system integration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing cross-functional stakeholders at all seniority levels Strong collaboration skills with design, marketing, analytics, and compliance teams Deep understanding of UX principles, especially in gaming or entertainment platforms Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent projects and complex dependencies Passion for creating engaging, compliant, and guest-centric gaming experiences Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Figma, Miro, Analytics dashboards) Proficiency in using AI-powered product management, design, and analytics tools to increase efficiency, accelerate documentation, and improve decision-making.
