Position Overview

The Corporate & Tax Advisory Managerwill act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their businessobjectives, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending practicalcorporate, tax and business solutions.

The role combines technical expertise, commercial understanding andrelationship management.

The successful candidate must be comfortable engaging clients, conductingdiscovery discussions and translating technical concepts into practicalbusiness recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Business Advisory

• Conduct client consultations and discovery meetings.
• Understand clients' business structures, operational models and future plans.
• Identify business, governance, compliance and tax-related challenges.
• Recommend practical and commercially viable solutions.
• Assist clients in evaluating growth, investment and expansion opportunities.

Tax Advisory

• Provide advisory support relating to Singapore corporate taxation matters.
• Advise on tax implications of corporate structures and business arrangements.
• Assist clients in understanding cross-border tax considerations.
• Review withholding tax implications.
• Support transfer pricing discussions and assessments.
• Analyse permanent establishment exposure where applicable.

Cross-Border Structuring & Expansion

• Advise clients on entering Singapore and ASEAN markets.
• Assist clients in evaluating suitable holding company structures.
• Support foreign entrepreneurs setting up operations in Singapore.
• Support Singapore businesses expanding into Malaysia and other ASEANcountries.

Client Relationship Management

• Develop strong relationships with clients and referral partners.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for advisory matters.
• Present recommendations confidently and professionally.

Business Development & Practice Development

• Support proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Participate in seminars, webinars and networking events.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to clients.

Internal Leadership

• Share technical knowledge with internal teams.
• Support capability building across accounting, tax and corporate secretarialfunctions.
• Assist in developing advisory methodologies and templates.

Requirements

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Business, Economics, Law or relateddisciplines.
• CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, SCTP, CTA or equivalentqualifications are highly regarded.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in tax advisory, corporate advisory, business advisory orprofessional services.
• Experience dealing directly with clients.
• Strong understanding of Singapore business environment.

Preferred

• Big 4 experience.
• Mid-tier accounting firm experience.
• Tax advisory practice experience.
• Corporate services experience.
• Cross-border advisory experience.
• Experience serving SMEs and privately owned businesses.
