Credit Analyst - Private Credit

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to support the assessment and management of private credit and structured lending transactions. This role involves evaluating new and existing credit applications, preparing clear and concise credit recommendations, and supporting approval decisions for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently review and assess credit applications across private credit and related financing structures
• Prepare executive credit summaries to support approval processes
• Monitor portfolio performance and develop action plans for potentially deteriorating credits
• Conduct portfolio analysis across industries, geographies, currencies, and product types
• Track credit exposures and concentration risks in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Support development of credit frameworks, policies, and risk grading methodologies for private credit
• Engage with business units to align deal structuring with credit appetite and risk policy
• Maintain accuracy of credit systems and ensure data integrity across portfolios

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk, or approval roles within banking
• Strong exposure to structured credit, corporate finance, or private credit preferred
• Excellent analytical, due diligence, and credit writing skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communicator with the ability to work across business and risk teams
