Your new role

Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for leading the overall sales and business development strategy while driving sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.

Key responsibilities include

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Drive new business development and expand existing customer relationships across Singapore and regional markets.
• Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and growth initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, consultants, OEMs, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure major contracts and supply agreements.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and market intelligence.
• Review pricing strategies and profitability to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present business performance reports, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will possess

• Degree qualification in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of B2B industrial sales experience, with a proven track record in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven success within industrial products, engineering materials, steel distribution, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, business development, and key account expansion.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and profit management.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop successful sales teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and operational execution.
• Existing industry network and customer relationships within industrial sectors will be highly advantageous.
