Technical Systems Engineer (Presales)

Position Overview

The Technical Systems Engineer acts as the primary technical expert for our Network Cabling and Data Center (DC) solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical complexity and commercial application by supporting the sales team, engaging with consultants and system integrators during the design phase, and providing top-tier technical training and troubleshooting to partners and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Specification & Pre-Sales Support

Solution Design: Engage directly with consultants and system integrators (SIs) during the design and specification phase to position the company’s solutions across low-voltage, ICT, and structured cabling projects.

Compliance & Review: Prepare, review, and evaluate product specifications for customers, ensuring absolute compliance with network requirements, applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Sales Enablement: Assist the Sales Team in promoting Network Cabling & DC solutions by addressing technical requests, creating sample boards, providing technical data sheets, and delivering product demonstrations.

2. Technical Training & Customer Enablement

Workshops & Briefings: Conduct technical presentations, briefings, and workshops for end-users and partners on Network Cabling Solutions, frequently utilizing the Supplier’s Experience Centre.

Certification Management: Liaise with suppliers and customers to coordinate and deliver Supplier Certification Training, providing hands-on support throughout the program.

General Support: Serve as the subject matter expert to answer technical queries and provide ongoing support to internal colleagues, customers, and partners.

3. Customer Success & Post-Sales Support On-Site Troubleshooting

Assist customers directly with technical requests, including onsite troubleshooting for physical cabling faults and performance issues.  Lifecycle Support: Manage technical sample requests and facilitate the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process directly with the supplier.

4. Competitive Analysis & Vendor Evaluation Market Intelligence

Continually compare, analyze, and understand the features, benefits, and differentiators of the supplier’s portfolio against key market competitors.

Vendor Recommendations: Evaluate third-party and vendor products, making datadriven recommendations aligned with industry standards and best practices.
