about the job.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing workflows, preparing ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of accurate financial statements, management accounts, and statutory reporting packages in alignment with HKFRS.
• Perform financial variance analysis, expense reviews, and prepare supporting schedules for group financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors and professional tax advisors during annual audit cycles and statutory tax filings.
• Maintain accounting documentation, ensure proper audit trails, and assist in monitoring internal financial control compliance.
• Participate in financial reporting system enhancement projects to automate accounting procedures and improve data accuracy.

skills & experience required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• Member or finalist of CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting body.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory accounting, or audit within a brokerage, financial institution, or Big 4 / professional firm.
• Sound understanding of HKFRS accounting standards; prior exposure to SFC regulatory frameworks is a distinct advantage.
• Detail-oriented team player with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory to effectively collaborate across regional business units and mainland stakeholders.
