Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Desktop Support Technician role based in Hung Hom. The Desktop Support Technician will provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing computer repairs, and ensuring printers and related equipment are functioning properly. The role involves responding to support requests, documenting issues and resolutions, and escalating complex problems when necessary.

The technician will collaborate with other IT team members to maintain a stable and secure desktop environment and deliver timely, customer-focused support to internal users.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Computers and general Technical Support.
• Candidates should possess skills in Printer Support and related peripheral device maintenance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Computer Repair for hardware and software issues.
• Good knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and common office applications.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users and provide user-friendly guidance.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple support requests.
• Experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support environment is preferred.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) or equivalent practical experience are beneficial.
