Group Financial Controller role within a sizeable property group, overseeing multi-jurisdiction financial reporting, consolidation, and governance. The business has a diversified portfolio spanning development, investment, and asset management, and is currently strengthening its finance leadership team to support ongoing regional expansion.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, this position will lead the group controllership function, overseeing financial reporting, consolidation, and governance across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The role requires a technically strong and hands-on finance professional with solid property industry experience and a Big 4 foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the group financial controllership function, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across all business units
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation for the group, covering multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with HKFRS/IFRS and relevant local statutory requirements
• Drive improvements in financial controls, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency and transparency
• Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistent accounting treatments and reporting standards
• Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting across jurisdictions
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including property development, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures
• Support senior management with financial analysis and insights to facilitate decision-making
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; qualified CPA/ACCA or equivalent
• Big 4 trained with solid audit or advisory foundation
• Proven experience in the property/real estate sector is essential
• Minimum 15 years’ experience, with exposure to group-level reporting and consolidation
• Strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and multi-jurisdictional compliance
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is advantageous
