Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's culinary operations, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and taste;

Develop and refine menu offerings with a focus on authentic and innovative Chinese dishes, especially Roast Duck techniques;

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served;

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and waste reduction;

Collaborate with management on branding, marketing, and customer feedback to enhance the dining experience;

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in accordance with local regulations;

Source and select high-quality ingredients, establishing relationships with reliable suppliers;

Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and uphold operational standards;

Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas while respecting traditional techniques;

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Sous Chef.

Job Requirements

5-8 years proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining Chinese restaurant, with opening task force experience preferred;

Deep knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles;

Exceptional leadership and team management skills;

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;

Creative mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences;

Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices;

Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
