Finance Director - Global Hedge Fund - Market leading base / bonus

We are partnering with a top-performing global hedge fund to hire a Finance Director to take ownership of their APAC reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-calibre team within a fund known for its exceptional performance, strong culture, and continued global growth.

This role leads a team covering management accounting, audit, and regulatory reporting, alongside ongoing project work, largely centred on growth initiatives and enhancing scalability through technology. You will take ownership of the monthly and quarterly close under both IFRS and US GAAP, delivering insightful analysis and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

You'll also lead the year-end audit process and manage Hong Kong regulatory reporting requirements, while overseeing a lean HK-based finance team and working closely with global finance heads. As the business continues to expand its footprint across APAC, this role will play a key part in building out reporting infrastructure and controls to support growth into new jurisdictions.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent) with 15+ years in financial services, ideally within hedge funds or asset management. The successful candidate will be confident operating autonomously (covering management accounting and reg filings) and engaging with senior stakeholders globally.
