Job Overview

Macrobond is looking for a Sales Executive to join the Asia Sales team. In this key role you will be primarily driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for positioning Macrobond's comprehensive economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients.

Macrobond has a decent client base in Greater China, yet there remains significant untapped potential. This is an exciting opportunity to join Macrobond as we accelerate our growth and build strong foundations across our company.

Job Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Proactively target and acquire new clients by identifying market trends and key industry opportunities. Present Macrobond's platform capabilities to prospects, demonstrating the value of our integrated data and analysis tools.
• Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to maintain and grow client accounts.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobond's global strategy. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobond's data offerings.
• Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobond's data products, including API integrations and automated workflows. Provide demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and support in closing deals.
• Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobond's chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights

Required Qualifications and experience

• Excellent understanding of Investment Workflows, preferably top-down investment making landscape.
• Hands-on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS and financial services, with specific focus on macro analytics
• Has experience in selling into Greater China Region (Hong Kong, China).
• Proficiency in Business Chinese
• Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data driven solutions to the investment community, ideally, economists, analysts and strategist from banks and asset owners and managers
• Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals.
• Territory : HK, Greater China & Korea
• Due to role requirements, applicants must be Hong Kong Permanent Residents or Hong Kong citizens. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

• A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with disparate international teams, as well as work independently
• Ability to manage priorities and effectively time manage with flexible approach.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
