Max Bill Rate: $65/hour Onsite Position- Englewood Cliffs , NJ Duration: 6 months North America Foods Lab Technician

Description

This is a temporary role to support laboratory, pilot plant, and analytical work for innovations, renovations, and operations projects within the Condiments and Savory portfolio.

The scope of the role includes keeping lab area stocked with necessary supplies and equipment, managing sample shipment and product ordering, preparing for sample production, including weighing raw materials for both lab scale and pilot scale runs, supporting the team in sample production, conducting analytical testing, and coordinating and supporting product evaluations.

The role is based on-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Mondy -Friday, 40 hours per week, and is expected to last 6 months, with potential to extend.

Required Skills

• Minimum one year of lab technician experience, preferably in Consumer-Packaged Goods
• Understanding of and ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and GMP
• Ability to work in laboratory and pilot plant environment, which includes being on feet for extended periods of time and may require lifting of bulk items
• Ability to perform regular maintenance on laboratory equipment including inspecting, cleaning, and calibrating
• Strong data documentation skills
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in use of analytical testing such as pH, salt, texture, etc
