Head of Operations — Maison Law (Glendale, CA)

Maison Law is a 75-person California injury firm — personal injury, workers' comp, and immigration. We're hiring a Head of Operations to own the day-to-day so the managing attorney can stay on the cases, not the org chart.

This is the top operations seat. You report to the managing attorney and run everything that isn't practicing law.

What you'll own

• Daily operations across intake, pre-litigation, litigation support, and settlement — keep files moving and nothing falling through the cracks
• People: hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance, and holding the team to a standard
• Process: build and enforce workflows so cases move on time without the owner chasing them
• Systems: own the stack (Filevine, Lead Docket, RingCentral, Dropbox, Microsoft) and the reporting that comes out of it
• Numbers: KPIs, case-cycle metrics, staffing ratios, and a weekly read on where the firm actually stands
• Vendors: outside vendors, records companies, medical-provider coordination, and cost control

What you need

• Direct operations experience at a personal injury (or high-volume plaintiff) law firm — non-negotiable. You've run ops inside a firm like ours and you know exactly where cases stall.
• Track record managing teams of 30+
• Hands-on with legal case management software (Filevine strongly preferred)
• You fix problems without being told twice, and you're comfortable holding people accountable
• Available on-site in Glendale, full-time

• Spanish
• Workers' comp and/or immigration exposure
• Experience rolling out automation or AI tools inside a firm

Compensation & logistics

• Base salary: Starting at $150,000
• Full-time, on-site at our Glendale office
