Position Summary

XL Pro Staffing & Consulting is seeking a Senior Skilled Trades & Manufacturing Recruiter to recruit highly skilled industrial professionals for manufacturing and production environments. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and placing experienced tradespeople while building long-term talent pipelines to support our growing manufacturing client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through placement.
• Develop and maintain passive talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, trade schools, and industry associations.
• Conduct candidate interviews, technical screenings, and qualification assessments.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to understand client hiring needs.
• Maintain accurate ATS/CRM records and recruiting metrics.
• Build strong relationships with candidates and clients.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience recruiting skilled trades or manufacturing professionals.
• Experience recruiting within industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Ability to evaluate technical skills, certifications, and trade experience.
• Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using ATS systems and recruiting platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
