Vice President of Sales - Data Center Cooling & Mission Critical

About the Company

We are representing an established, scaling industrial hardware and capital equipment enterprise experiencing rapid expansion. We are currently searching for an elite Vice President of Sales to take full command of our commercial organization.

About the Role

This is a high-visibility, executive leadership role designed for an exceptional "A-player" who can step in, optimize a lean foundational team of direct reports, and drive aggressive top-line growth. You will be directly accountable for scaling our sales organization toward a $200,000,000 revenue milestone (supported by strategic growth initiatives, investments and future acquisitions).

The Vice President of Sales will serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, taking full ownership of the commercial organization, revenue generation, and sales operations.

You will lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing sales team, manage complex direct and channel sales strategies, and forge elite relationships with major enterprise clients, consulting engineers, and key stakeholders in the mission-critical space.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Strategy & Execution: Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to achieve and exceed annual revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and expand an initial core team of direct reports, establishing a high-performance culture, rigorous accountability, and clear performance metrics.
• Network & Channel Optimization: Leverage an extensive, high-level professional network of enterprise accounts, specifiers, contractors, and channel partners to expand market penetration.
• P&L & Operations Management: Oversee commercial budgets, resource allocation, and sales forecasting in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer and executive leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams to align sales output with production capacity and long-term facility scaling goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years of progressive commercial sales leadership experience within industrial manufacturing, complex engineered capital equipment.
• Track Record: Demonstrated success scaling a commercial organization from mid-market levels to exponential revenue growth ($50M+ scale). Experience managing P&L and structuring sales incentives.
• Industry Background: Deep familiarity selling into highly regulated, high-stakes institutional or industrial verticals (e.g., advanced manufacturing, critical infrastructure, healthcare, tech-enabled facilities, or heavy commercial construction).
• Network: An established, active Rolodex of enterprise relationships, consulting engineers, major contractors, and key market stakeholders.
• Leadership Style: Exceptional executive presence, a high bias for action, strategic problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative approach.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (MBA preferred).

Pay range and compensation package

• $200,000 - $250,000 Base + Bonus Incentive
