Legal Secretaries

LHH is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary for a contract opportunity with a respected legal team. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively support attorneys while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff
• Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
• Manage attorney calendars, meetings, appointments, and deadlines
• Coordinate court filings and maintain organized case files
• Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and confidential documentation
• Schedule travel arrangements, meetings, and conference calls as needed
• Assist with document management and records retention processes
• Support day-to-day office operations and special projects

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or similar role in a law firm or legal department
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and office procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality

Pay Details: $50.00 to $75.00 per hour
