Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Prepare and process patient samples for analysis.
Record and maintain accurate documentation of all test results and patient information.
Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and families, making them feel comfortable and at ease during their laboratory visit.
Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory operations.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry and technological advancements.
Handle and process confidential patient information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents, ordering as needed.
Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Act as a role model for junior laboratory staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
