Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team orientated individual to join Sword Canada as a full-time HR Coordinator! Please note this position is office based.

Sword are a leading global supplier of event staffing and crowd management services across multiple locations including Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end recruitment, advising employees on all HR aspects, talent attraction and retention, and talent management. We are a passionate bunch and look forward to finding the right person to join our expanding team!

As a leading supplier of event staffing, recruitment will be a primary focus. You'll manage hiring campaigns from advertising through to onboarding, often recruiting for multiple roles at once and supporting high volume hiring for large scale events. From screening candidates and coordinating interviews, to facilitating group recruitment sessions, you'll play a key role in ensuring we attract and hire great people.

No two days are the same. While your home will be within HR, we're a collaborative business and you will be supporting our Operations and Scheduling teams as well.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for seasonal and casual positions.
• Coordinate high-volume recruitment campaigns for operational and event-based roles.
• Screen applications and schedule interviews.
• Organise and facilitate group interviews.
• Work closely with the Operations Team to understand staffing requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Prepare contracts and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate new starter inductions and ensure employees have a positive onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
• Produce recruitment reports and monitor key hiring metrics.
• Provide administrative support to Scheduling

Requirements

You'll be someone who enjoys working with people and can comfortably manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

Ideally, you'll have

• 2 years' experience in HR, recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience recruiting for high-volume or operational workforces (an advantage).
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with managers and candidates alike.
• Experience using recruitment systems, HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Salary: $62,000.00 per year
