Licenced Paralegal 1+ Years Of Accident Benefits Experience

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of accident benefits experience including working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and LAT Process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume practice.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional critical thinking and writing skills.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily communication with clients and counsels.
• Perform detailed review of clients medical documentation and other files.
• Create and maintain good relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, healthcare providers and their staff.
• Handle OCF forms according to the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) requirements.
• Drafting letters to insurance companies, doctors, OHIP, police ,clinics ,defense counsel and clients
• Make sure clients receive the right amount of benefits under SABS when dealing with insurance companies.
• Drafting LAT applications.
• General office file maintenance.
