An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a well-established and respected law firm in Manchester.

Working alongside experienced fee earners, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, ensuring the smooth progression of legal matters while delivering an excellent standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing legal correspondence and documentation through audio and copy typing
• Diary management and arranging meetings and appointments
• Opening, maintaining and closing legal files
• Liaising with clients and third parties by telephone and email
• Managing incoming correspondence and maintaining accurate records
• Providing general secretarial and administrative support to fee earners

About You

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant within a law firm
• Excellent audio and copy typing skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident and professional communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Able to manage a busy workload and work effectively as part of a team
