Bartender

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled, energetic, and customer-focused Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This position is best suited for experienced bartenders who can confidently manage a busy bar while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and utensils
• Use the POS system (Micros POS preferred) for orders and payments
• Ensure compliance with food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking when required
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience is required. Applications without relevant bartending experience will not be considered.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, pub, or bar environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service
• Experience using POS systems (Micros POS experience is an asset)
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Smart Serve Certification is required or must be obtained before starting employment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when required

Pay: $17.60-$22.29 per hour
