Full Cycle Bookkeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in Quickbooks and a solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP and double-entry bookkeeping.

Duties

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to verify accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, for management review.
• Assist with budgeting processes and provide account analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards, including governmental accounting practices where necessary.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting practices as well as non-profit accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and experience with public accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting activities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
