The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervisory duties in the Housekeeping department, including but not limited to inspecting guest rooms, counseling and interviewing employees, resolving guest complaints, general office duties, etc. A minimum of 1 year of hotel experience and excellent communication skills—as well as basic computer skills—are required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Participate in the hiring process, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and values.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns.
• Prepare work schedules anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to work AM and PM shifts, holidays, and weekends
