Senior Accountant/CPA

Position Summary

Primary Arms is seeking an experienced CPA to join our Accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process, solving complex financial challenges, and partnering with leadership to support business growth.

You'll play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, tax support, and process improvements while working alongside a collaborative finance team in a fast-paced retail and distribution environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Track and maintain fixed assets and depreciation
• Prepare lease accounting, accruals, and prepaid schedules
• Support business tax compliance and external audits
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance and Operations
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting

What We're Looking For

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA license
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using NetSuite

Preferred

• Retail or distribution experience
• Inventory accounting
• Power BI
• SOX experience
