Data Analyst
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. Within the GI Medical Oncology department, the Data Analyst contributes to translational research focused on gastro-esophageal cancers. The Data Analyst plays a critical role in coordinating research activities, analyzing clinical data, and supporting complex projects alongside faculty and investigators.
The Data Analyst ensures accurate data management and helps translate findings into meaningful scientific contributions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, clinical research processes, and database management, along with experience supporting medical or translational research projects.
A background in biological sciences, bioinformatics, or a related discipline is preferred, along with demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to manuscripts and research reporting.
