Performance Marketing Specialist

We are adding a Performance Marketing Specialist to our Marketing team! The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and analyzing paid digital marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and advertising efficiency.

This role manages performance marketing initiatives across retail media networks, Google ads, paid social platforms to maximize campaign effectiveness while supporting overall business objectives and directly communicating with clients and internal teams to ensure campaign success.

Responsibilities include

• Develop, launch, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max.
• Manage paid social advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other emerging channels as appropriate.
• Plan, execute, and optimize retail media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Target Roundel, and other retail media networks.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and make strategic optimizations to improve Total Advertising Cost of Sales (TACoS), cost per acquisition (CPA), click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), and overall marketing efficiency.
• Communicate campaign performance to clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams (creative, analytics, and account management) to develop comprehensive strategies and execute campaigns.
• Provide in-depth reporting on campaign performance, highlighting key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Share regular reports on key performance metrics with clients, ensuring clear communication on campaign outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date on advertising features, best practices, AI enhancements and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in Paid Advertising or digital marketing
• Hands-on campaign management experience, strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising platforms (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP), Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or other paid social platforms
• Experience in data analysis and campaign optimization to improve performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions and internal team collaboration.
• Proven ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day execution of campaigns.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience using tools like Amazon Advertising Console, Amazon Attribution, Google Analytics, or other performance tracking tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Hybrid out of Mendota Heights, MN preferred, will consider fully remote
