Procurement Specialist (Labor Buyer)

THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a leading energy management company in Plymouth, MN, in their search for a Procurement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing procurement team responsible for sourcing and managing third-party labor partners that support nationwide energy efficiency and lighting installation projects.

In this role, you will identify, qualify, negotiate with, and manage a network of regional and national labor partners while helping ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality. You'll work cross-functionally with project teams, operations, and vendors to build strategic partnerships that drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience
• Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, or service agreements with third-party vendors
• Strong relationship-building and supplier management skills
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working within ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing and managing labor vendors, subcontractors, or field service providers
• Experience supporting commercial construction, electrical, lighting, facilities, industrial, or retail projects
• Knowledge of contractor licensing, insurance requirements, and labor compliance
• Experience using Salesforce, Oracle, and Smartsheet
• Resource planning or workforce allocation experience is a plus

Position Details, Pay, & Schedule

• Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity
• Position is 100% Onsite in Plymouth, MN
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (core business hours)
• Compensation: $67,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience
• 15% annual company bonus
• Approximately 10% travel, including occasional overnight travel
