Housekeeping Manager

A growing hospitality management company is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operation at a premium select-service hotel located in the Minneapolis–St. Paul market.

The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping department while fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all daily housekeeping and laundry operations while ensuring exceptional cleanliness throughout the property.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates and supervisors.
• Establish a culture of accountability, teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas consistently exceed brand standards.
• Manage labor productivity, scheduling, payroll, and departmental expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality assurance audits.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to maximize room availability and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing of housekeeping supplies and linens.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns while driving service recovery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, and departmental financial performance.
