This is not a traditional Head of Sales or VP of Sales opportunity.

We are conducting a confidential executive search for one of the nation's leading independent wealth management firms as they enter an ambitious growth phase. This executive will play a pivotal role in helping scale the firm from approximately $10B to $50B in Assets Under Management (AUM) over the next decade.

This is the most senior leadership search our team has partnered on, and we're looking for an exceptional executive with a proven track record of leading high-performing, relationship-driven sales organizations.

Who we're looking for

We're seeking a transformational sales executive who has successfully

• Led enterprise-level sales organizations with full ownership of growth strategy and results.
• Coached and developed top-performing consultative sales professionals.
• Influenced senior executives and high-value clients through trust, credibility, and strategic leadership.
• Built cultures of accountability, coaching, and long-term organic growth.
• Balanced executive strategy with hands-on leadership and execution.

Required industry experience

Candidates should come from relationship-based, consultative sales environments, such as:

• Wealth Management
• Registered Investment Advisors (RIA)
• Independent Broker Dealers (IBD)
• Financial Advisory Firms
• Professional Services
• Executive Consulting
• Sales Coaching Organizations

This position is NOT a fit for candidates whose experience is primarily in:

• SaaS
• Software
• Technology
• Medical Devices
• Telecom
• Retail
• High-volume transactional or product-based sales environments

We're not looking for someone whose primary achievement has been implementing sales processes or building SDR teams.

We're looking for an executive who has built exceptional sales organizations, developed elite producers, earned the trust of senior professionals, and driven meaningful long-term growth.
