Sr. Software Engineer/Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

Join our client’s team, a forward-thinking sports technology company, as a Sr. Full Stack Developer. This is a 1099 role (with equity options) located in Bend, Portland, OR or Remote. You will design, build, and maintain robust web and mobile applications that power next‐generation performance software.

Collaborate across the full stack – frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure – to deliver scalable, user‐centered solutions that drive innovation in the sports analytics space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using React, React Native, ExpressJS, NextJS, Python, and SQL.
• Create engaging user interfaces with CSS, SCSS, Tailwind, and Glue Stack for consistent cross-platform performance.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3) or similar services.
• Optimize database structures and queries for performance and reliability.
• Obtain and maintain relevant AWS certifications.
• Translate business goals into scalable technical solutions and build new features to enhance platform usability and engagement.
• Ensure synchronization between web and mobile environments and contribute to UI/UX design by creating high-fidelity mockups for new features.

Required Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in React, React Native, ExpressJS, NextJS, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and DevOps fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on quality and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certification(s) (Developer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
• Experience with UI/UX design or wireframing tools.
• Knowledge of mobile app deployment and store submission processes.
