About the Role

The Law Office of Brent J Huff, a criminal defense firm in Salt Lake City, is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our team full-time. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to grow in the legal field — prior experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Hours may vary

What You'll Do

• Answer phones and greet clients with professionalism and warmth
• Manage client intake and organize case files
• Draft and file legal documents and correspondence
• Coordinate scheduling and calendar management, including court dates and deadlines
• Handle general office administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior legal or office experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential client information
• Reliable, personable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced office
